This is one of my favourite games of all time – it’s simply amazing. We got the game for christmas and started on christmas eve. Only after a few days did we realise, that it is a THREE PLAYER GAME. This was perfect, as we are three brothers. I still remember my mum calling Nintendo and ordering the three player adaptor. The wait was horrible, but once it arrived, I don’t think we left the house.
My brother has even had a few S.O.M nights, where you start playing at level 0 and don’t rest until you have killed the end boss.
It is amazing how this game is still miles better than any other modern game of today… well perhaps bomberman beats it (but only on the SNES and with the little jumping pets).

but bomberman never beats SOM!!!i just started playing final fantasy vii again…also ridiculously awesome!
Hey why didn’t you mention Lutz and myself? We are Vincent’s best Secret of Mana companions ever! Me playing the unresistable Boy character and Lutz the little sorcery bitch ^^ By the way, we haven’t had a SoM night since ages (at least it feels like that).
I bet you like to play the girl(s) most, too.
